I have not completed my internship yet but I plan to do one because I want to get the most I can out of college and I want to be the best, most successful I can in the end.
There are malls and many restaurants close by. I grew up in this city so it's not much excitement for me but there are many things to do for those who aren't very familiar with the school.
They offer a few housing options by the school. Of course you would have to pay rent but they do offer that to students who are 21 and older. They also give you the option of commuting from a parent's house as well.
My school campus is pretty diverse. With this being such a small university, people come from everywhere and have very different views and beliefs. Many people that attend follow a catholic religion but there are many others of Christian beliefs.
The are a few organizations that would look great on a resume if you were part of some of them. There are some pretty comfortable lounge areas and also quiet areas to get a lot of work done.
Parking is not all that great. If you don't have a class early in the morning you will be parking in the back because the spots fill up quick. I feel like the cost of the parking permit is outrageous compared to the last school I attended.
The school doesn't participate much in throwing parties but other options are places off campus.
I don't know much about the sororities/fraternities on campus but for the most part everyone gets along.
Taking care of safety and Health is of massive importance on campus. It's nearly impossible to go twenty (20) minutes without seeing a police officer within fifty (50) feet. The health center is very organized and accepts walk-ins but prefers to set up appointments in 15 minute intervals.
