School is great! The process for getting into online nursing program is fair a bit difficult for foreigners despite how long they have lived in this country.
I have never heard of any crime on campus. I have never felt unsafe either.
Ih have not started my clincals. However most nursing students get offered jobs before graduating. There are always above average clinical sites to attend
You have to have excellent time management skills. Ask questins if you do not understand. I will be entering my clinicals soon. I'm working fot the mental health rotation.the curriculum is straight forward but you need to study. Since MU is well liked in the community jobs will be available.
Attending Mu will allow me to find secure jobs once I pass the NClEX. My career goal is to become the best Forensic nurse for the VA. Many soldgiers are coming home and need help. I want to help them and their families.
Some of the facilities at Marian are pretty old, but as far as dorms, it isn't bad at all. Each room has its own AC/heat. The athletic facilities are definitely improving, and there are many projects on the way for Marian's campus.
I am in the BSN registered nursing program, and I am satisfied with my education for the most part. At Marian your chances of getting the best education for your money is at a high percentage, but it really depends on the type of professor you get. Some of the professors at Marian are extremely helpful, some are not. The ones that are helpful are genuine, they really want you to succeed. Marian is unique becasue it is a very old private/catholic school. There is a building called Stokely Manor. It is a mansion! When you walk into this building you step on to beautifully finished hardwood floors. They shine so bright you can almost see your face. It's historical charm overwhelmed me so much that I was in awe. I almost forgot what I came in there for. I wanted to explore the mansion. Marian has some of the friendliest security on their campus. Anything you need from them they are always right there. I have a class in the late evening and in the winter time it is extremely dark when I leave class. The security is always outside patrolling to make sure everyone is safe. If you want a ride to your car they will do it. If you need a jump-start because your battery has died out they will help you with that. They are an all-around good security team and I feel secure on Marian's campus.
