Good School for Traditional Adult Students! As a traditional adult student, the staff is there to guide me towards my degree while working full time.

Nursing Major – I feel that there are some classes that are unnecessary, such as 3 psychology courses and a world history class. However, I suppose every college has these unnecessary courses which we will never use in our degree/career. I feel that 3 psychology courses is a bit much.

There Should Be a Quiet Area – In the schools computer lab, it is labeled a quiet zone, but in actuality, it is quiet noisy. Students frequently talk out loud on their cell phones or among themselves. There doesn't seem to be a respect for other students who are working on papers or studying.

Subway Is the Only Rest. Subway is the only place to eat other than the dining hall which I have never visited.

You Have to Dig – Marian University is an excellent school but expensive. You most likely have to go beyond fasfa to help pay for school and if the University would have resouces to help with that, that would help greatly.

It Is a Great School – I really like Marian University. Your class room sizes are small enough to get personal help if you need it. The personal attention that you get is definitely worth the extra money but the financial part can be stressful so prepare well. I would choose the school again!!

We Have People from Many Different Countries, Backgrounds, and Beliefs. Because of our World Champion Cycling Team, our National Semifinalist NAIA Football Team, and our incredible Service program, we have a large draw of students from countless walks of life.

Don't Wat to Eat in the Dinning Hall? The school is just located a few blocks away from a bunch of resurants. Within 5 mins you can get to Burger King, McDonalds, KFC, Fazzolies, Arbys, Wendys, Taco Bell and thats just some the fast food. There is also O'Charlies, steak and Shaake, Hooters, Dairy Queen and so much more located so close to campus.
