The school tsellf offers alot of activities to do during the week, and even the weekend tokeep students busy and ot of trouble. These activites are fuun and great to interaact with the student body but not like a raging party at al. If you want to go ot and drink and go to clubs you have to be 21. There are no 18U clubs in Indiana, the closest are in Dayton Ohio, and in Chicago. You won't find drus on Marian's campus unless you go and look for them. 've neve had anyone ask me about druugs before nethier hae i ever seen them aaround. If people aredoing drus they're keeping a very low profile. Marian Universsity is a smoke free campus. Alcohol is not alowed in te doorms or on campus at all, iif you want a party you hasve to go off of campus. Most student dont keep alchol i their room in fear of getting caught.

Although the camous has no security cameras at all it's actualy a very safe place to be. There is a 24/7 police force on campus that are actually Indianpolis , Police. These police are there for more then just keeping you safe but will help you whenever needed. My car needed a jump at an intersection off campus and they were there quickly to give me a jump. Once day while driving back to campus a friend of mine got a flat tired and the police came and helped him fix it, they wont do it for you but they'll help you out. The p... read more

Marian University seems like the school for sports that are often left forgotten. There cycling team has 15 national championships, they're bowling team which jsut started is doig well along with there tennis. Although those are just the unforgotten sports the more popular ones are good too!! Marians Football team did amazing this year and even won the Conference. Marian Athletics may not be top knotch yet but they're deffiently getting there

You Might Wanna Wait for Subway. Since the school is so small tere is only one ddiner hal and it has restricted hours. The food here for the most part is pretty good but not fantastic. When the food is good its real good but then it's bad its hrrible, you're always saved with pizza, and hamburgers tho (unless its lent) Subway is a great alternative and s ofered ater the cafe is clsoed as a meal plan, alot of student chose to do this at least twice a week.

Very Serious Policies – It still being college, Marian has warnings all the time. There is a bit leniency that they have on some of the policies, mostly because they want to get a full understanding of the situation. But when the foot is put down, its down for good.

Small School Advantage – Being a small campus has its advantages when it comes to safety. Marian University is a catholic college that prides itself on moral responsibilty of everyone on campus. The location of the campus, while located in the city, has little public traffic making the campus a safer place. tudents are reminded, however that no place is totally safe.
