Undergoing Change – Marian is a Catholic University with a large non-catholic student body. Being that it is a small university the individual beliefs seem to blend well. The view of the student, staff and instructor may not always be the same but are mutually accepted in most cases. Marian University is becoming more diverse as it grows in numbers, ages of students and couses of study.

First Step in Life Prep – Marian gives its students a well rounded view of each student place in the community. As religious and environmental study are required for graduation, the university helps each students form values and moral boundaries. These educational guides make each of us better in personal and our professional lives after graduation. Students are exposed to the arts, sports and the sciences. Our university is growing and working to meet all the needs of the student body.

Walking Oncampus the Best Option – There is somewhat limited parking on campus, The city has modest public transportation, but it does run near the campus. The majority of the students ride their bikes or walk, which is not a problem with the size of the campus.

MARIAN IS A BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS. NOT ONLY IS IT BEAUTIFUL, IT IS WELL LIT AND PROVIDES SECURITY TO KEEP ITS STUDENTS SAFE. I HAVE NEVER FELT UNSAFE ON MARIAN'S CAMPUS. IN FACT, I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I CAN BE PERSONALLY ESCORTED IF I EVER FEEL THE NEED. MARIAN PROVIDES PROPER PRECAUTIONS TO KEEP STUDENTS SAFE.

Living on Campus – The dorms are wonderful; there are a number of different living arrangements one can choose from. The amenities get better with the more recent the buildings were built, but all are good. Cost is a little much, but is manageable. The convenience is great! Near the buildings that house classes, very safe due to locks on the floor doors. The ease of the housing process is pretty good, although when there's many people on the website it makes it difficult.

The local atmosphere is wonderful and perfect! Marian University is located near downtown Indianapolis and all of its attractions. It's near the Indianapolis Zoo, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Circle Center Mall, and the Canal.

Family Type Atmosphere – Marian University is a great school if you want to get to know each other. The teachers are always there to help, and when you're absent, they check on you. This is nice, because the teachers show concern. The class sizes are small, which is good. If you are needing help in the class, sometimes the teachers will recognize any problems before you do. With free tutoring and counseling services, Marian really tries to make you feel at home.

Campus Atmosphere – With Marian being a small school, funding is quite scarce. I have to say, marian does a wonderful job of getting sponsors to build places around campus. Some of the older buildings could use some work, but the campus operations does a great job of keeping up on repairs. Several fairly new buildings on campus, such as, a P.E. Center, Music Center, and currently they are building a building for the School of Nursing and a residence hall.

Religious Campus Holds Students to High Moral Standards – This school, while accepting of all religions and beliefs, holds its students to its Catholic values. This can be seen by the separation of girl-only/guy-only dormitory floors, strict visiting hours, and zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol. Smoking is also not permitted on campus.
