I had to fill out and send in a form that audited my fafsa every year which was annoying and we had to resend in this information about 3 times each year because they kept saying that they didn't receive it
I gave this grade for two reasons. 1. The cost for a parking pass is outrageous!! $250 for commuters per year. I feel that that is entirely too much for anyone to pay just to park. The tuition for this school is already sky rocketed so paying this much for a parking pass is pretty sad. 2. the parking is not all that great. You have to do a lot of walking. You must be on time to get a good parking spot, otherwise you will have a long walk to class and you may wind up being late.
Marian's campus life is very limited. NAIA athletics don't attract a lot of intrest though our football team is good. There is absolutely no night life on campus. It's a dry campus with a lot of local students that absolutely dies on the weekends.
Many people there were very closed-minded and rude.
There were only three choices, and they were all bad.
I liked the business program, but the liberal arts programs are closed-minded.
My overall experience has been very poor. I enjoy my classes and the academic environment, but everything else is awful. The students are very rude and inconsiderate. They are close-minded and not willing to listen to another's point of view if it differs from their own.
Since Marian is mostly a commuter school, there is not very many activities for them to go to since they are usually held late evening in the middle of the week. There is one student hangout and it is very small and boring. The library is nice, but needs more than one printer
The computer labs are a joke. The printing is a joke because there is only one printer for 20 computers. They are always getting jammed. The network is very unreliable and slow.
