On campus police are evident. Campus is fairly safe.

I always feel safe on campus. I've never had an incident where I felt threatened. I do know that there as been some theft on campus, but I've never experienced that.

I really like the program I'm in. I feel like I'm being prepared for my future, and I know that I'll have a ton of support behind me when I go to find a job. The workload is challenging at times, but I also know that it is very important that I learn all of those things. It's a good kind of challenging.

I don't eat off campus much because I try to stick to my meal plan, but from my experience, the nearest restaurants to campus are mostly fast food. That being said, there are a ton of options around all of Indianapolis, so you can probably find whatever it is you're looking for.

The football team has now been two nationals twice in three years. Football is big here. The cycling team is also pretty big. Sports as a whole are definitely a part of campus life, but I don't know if they're as big as they are at other schools. There are a good deal of students who are athletes.

The dorms are clean and all of that. In Doyle where all the freshmen live, there's clearly wear and tear because of the age of the dorms. Sometimes that can create some problems. My freshmen year we are trouble heating the room because cold air came in from cracks around the window. Maintenance can be bad about fixing most problems, but if it's serious, they're usually pretty good about doing it quickly. However, when I was a freshmen, laundry was a pain because so many of the machines were constantly broken. I haven't had t... read more

I really like Indianapolis. It's a nice city. I don't plan on living here after I graduate, but that's mostly because I kind of want to explore other places. I definitely want to keep the city open as a possible place to live in the future. There are some cool events in Indianapolis like an international festival, and of course, we have professional sports teams, especially the Colts, which you are sure to hear about everywhere you go. There's also the famous children's museum, which has free days for college students. Some... read more

Students probably do tend to dress more on the conservative side, and most students don't tend to worry about how they're dressed when they go to class, especially early morning classes. Many of the students here are probably religious, although definitely not all. A lot of people are in relationships, and most of the ones I know of seem to be serious.

The professors are typically great. You can tell they're passionate about their field, and they are almost always incredibly helpful to students. You can tell that they care about the students' well-being and their academics. I've had three advisors as well, and all of them were so helpful. It's been clear that they care about me as both a person and a student, and I know that I can always go to them with questions or problems that I have just like I can with a lot of other professors I've had. Classes also tend to be small... read more
