There are computers available on campus, however the new system IT has implemented makes it very difficult to access a working computer and to be able to print. I believe IT should manage the public computers in a more effecient and timely manner. The library printers are often inoperable. Several of the computers in the student center are inoperable and have remained "broken" for weeks.
The school population is a diverse representation of what one would expect to meet in the working world.
I love Marian, I have learned a great deal about my major and myself while I have attended school. I appreciate the small campus and the Catholic experience. I appreciate the focus on Franciscain values.
At prime times it is difficult to get a good spot, the parking lots are a fair distance from the classrooms. If carrying several items or a large backpack it is tiring.
I appreciate the curriculm at Marian, I enjoy my classes tremendously. The only drawback is the availablitiy of classes, my major is a small percentage of students, it is difficult to get a variety of upper level classes when scheduling.
Campus is close to downtown, however public transportation is prohibitive to going downtown. If you don't have a car on campus it would be extremely stifling.
I would pick Marian again everyday. I love the small school atmosphere, as well as the commitment of faith. The drawbacks are part and parcel of attending a small school; parking and class availability. But I so appreciate being able to build relationships with my professors and classmates. I have only had great experiences with the professors and staff at Marian. Looking forward to being able to say I am a Marian graduate. I don't have any fears about finding employment. My major offers a wide variety of potential.

Even in the worst of the snow, Marian's facilities is dedicated to providing access to all buildings.
