The community at Marian is amazing. There are a lot of sports teams, which allows you to have a built-in support system within your team. Then within the school, it creates a strong community because we all cheer for each other and help each other strive in each sport. Plus as student-athletes you don't feel isolated because there are so many people that you can relate to at school.
I have had a great experience so far and love the small but welcoming community at Marian! Chose Marian as your choice and you will feel the same!
The nursing program has been wonderful. All of the faculty really care about how the students are doing and are willing to meet with students to guarantee their success.
This school has worked harder to make sure I receive the education I strive for. Their program and class sizes are small, which a perfect to make sure there is a direct interaction between professors and students. The program is one of the best I have looked at and they tell you everything up front, as well as help their students find ways to pay for the classes.
Being a first year student at Marian I was very nervous but I quickly learned that everyone here is so welcoming and kind. Professors and Staff are very committed to your success. Athletic programs are very well ran.
Marian University was a good decision for me. I got the opportunity to participate in my sport of wrestling on a scholarship at the university and it has treated me well. The teaching staff is affective and for the most part the school is run well. Howe being a commuter, due to the fact living on campus is too expensive, I do miss out on a lot of college experience which is unfortunate.
Overall, friendly environment. Classes and labs are challeneging but not too hard. Only issue would be some campus life aspects such as parking.
Overall it's a good University, but housing and food and "eh." Students are friendly and most professors are proactive in helping students.
Haven't had online classes yet. From what I understand, they are about what you would expect from an online learning experience.
