I haven't attended yet, but I like the connection that I have with my admissions counselor. She always keeps in contact with me and make sure I have all the information that I need to start college in the Fall of 2017.
Now that I have completed two full years of schooling there, I could not be more happy with the school I chose to attend. I have not had a professor that I did not like, nor one that I have heard a student talk poorly of. The campus is small and has a very close, family/community feel. Marian offers many extra curricular activities like clubs and intramural sports, and if there is a club that you are interested in that does not already exist, it is pretty easy to start one. We have multiple athletic teams to bring home a nat... read more
Marian is a great university. It is close to where I live. It is easy to get to. Financial aid is available for all students who are eligible. It is close to downtown Indianapolis.
Marian offers great opportunities for those returning to college/adult students. They work with your schedule and current financial situation.
Marian University is a friendly environment where students can easily have discussions with professors when needed, students can be seen hanging out, and faith can be expressed. The cafeteria food isn't the best but the workers are outgoing and make sure to take care of you. The dorms are old but comfortable.
I love the small class sizes and how close everything is on campus (is super nice in the winter). The dining options aren't too bad, but students would definitely appreciate a 24/7 option. However, you are just minutes from downtown so that is also nice. But all in all, the academics are good, the people are awesome, and the professors really care. I'm glad I chose Marian.
I am a freshman at Marian University. Marian is a great school and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in a small school. Marian has a great Nursing program and Business program. It a small school but very friendly and helpful. Everyone knows everyone and a great community that feels like family. The atmosphere is awesome and everyone should look into Marian. Go Knights!!!
A new freshman to college can be very frightening and that indeed it was for me. I have always been extremely social in High School and when I got to college it seemed like everything changed. I was afraid to communicate with others and I was very overwhelmed. The staff at Marian made me feel so welcomed and as if everyone was a family. I have never been away from my family so this was very helpful. My classes were smaller, which was nice because it allowed me to have more one on one time with my professor for additional hel... read more
I have been at Marian University for three years and I can't even tell you how much good comes from this school. I've gained some much knowledge because of the hands on experience you receive in the classroom. I have gained real life expericences that will carry me forward in life. The people at this school are so kind and always welcoming, you can't go very far without seeing a kind face, and you won't meet a nice faculty and staff. If there is one thing I could change is that some of the buildings need some updating.
