It's possible to find people on campus and date. Students at other colleges nearby are also possibilities for relationships.
I have been lucky to have some amazing professors, especially in my major. They're very helpful, and I enjoy a good deal of my classes.
There's one dining hall that doesn't have the best food ever, but there's usually something decent to eat. There's also a Subway and the Knight and Day cafe.
Overall I feel as if the dorms are decent. The freshmen dorms are in an older building, but it's a good atmosphere and things are kept up well. There's typically a good sense of community in the freshmen dorms, which isn't as common in the other dorm buildings. A new dorm building just opened last year.
There are minorities present, and it is possible to meet a diverse group of people if that's what you are looking for. However, it is definitely not the most diverse campus out there.
It's not the best right near campus.
I have maybe seen security once or twice the entire time I have been there, typically they are in the parking lots.
I don't attend any of the off campus bars near Marian.
I'm in the nursing program. There is a lot of work, clinicals, and tests; but it will be worth it some day.
